from a large collection of 1930s luxury automobile memorabilia acquired at an estate sale of a prominent enthusiast and collector in Fairfield County, CT, his obituary reads in part, “A committed collector and restorer of classic automobiles, primarily of 1930’s vintage, [he] at one time owned more than ten models, including a Duesenberg, a Pierce Arrow, a Rolls Royce, a Bentley and several Packards. [He] participated in many classic car rallies and meets throughout the years, driving the autos as far afield as Chicago.”
