    Description

    Round cardboard Purity Brand Rolled Oats, paper over cardboard, manufactured by Purity Oats Company, Keokuk and Devenport, Iowa, this is the 3 pound, 8 ounce size.  I noticed that another ebay seller has the same oats box, except it is 3 pounds, 7 ounces, so even many years ago manufactures were increasing the price of their cereal by cutting the contents of the box.  As far as I can tell, my box is the oldest on ebay for this brand of oats box. The box measures 9 1/2" tall and is 5 1/2" in diameter.  Has its original top and bottom and is empty.  Same design on front and back. Front is in extremely good condition, with a few very minor folds. Back is the same, with one small piece of paper missing in the white flower (but this sort of blends in with the rest of the design)-see my photos.  From a pet free and smoke free home-the container has no odor.  Also a virus free home.  There are other examples of this oats box on ebay-some are a different size and many are in poor condition.  Those that are comparable are priced much higher than my box.  I ship every day.
